Harry BertoiaThe Italian US-immigrant Harry Bertoia graduated in Denver from Cass Technical High School. He got a scholarship for the Cranbrook Academy of Arts where he founded a metalworking studio. He worked with Charles and Ray Eames first at Evans Products Company, where he developed techniques of moulding plywood, and for a second time after 1945 at Charles and Ray Eames' Plyformed Products Company.
