Le CorbusierCharles Edouard Jeannert-Gris, born in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, spent a long time span of his life in Paris, where he formed the postcubist Purism movement, wrote his book "Vers une nouvelle architecture" and etablished himself as as a leading architect and furniture designer.
