Charles Edouard Jeanneret-Gris (Le Corbusier), was born in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, where he studied furniture design. Designing the LC1 armchair, swiss Bauhaus designer and architect Le Corbusier developed a unique design vision for chairs and armchairs.
