These two tables of Bauhaus designer Marcel Breuer are from his series Laccio set. They consist of a chromed steel frame and laminated wood panels. The Bauhaus designers Marcel Breuer* was a German-American architect. After completing his apprenticeship in carpentry at the Bauhaus Weimar, Breuer worked for several years in the office of Walter Gropius. After his emigration to the USA, he established the influential Faculty of Architecture at Harvard University, together with Walter Gropius. In addition to the tables from the series Laccio Table Set are Marcel Breuer chair design Wassily chair* and the Cesca cantilever* become most famous. Even with and by Marcel Breuer the Bauhaus movement was one of the most influential design language of "modernity". Within the architecture and design of furniture classics, with tubular steel as the material for the production of design furniture, Marcel Breuer experimented for years in the State Bauhaus in Weimar.
